South east college

South East College established in 2013, is a fast-growing dynamic education and professional training organisation providing corporate education, training and consultancy services for forward-thinking businesses and skills courses for ambitious individuals delivered through online and classroom environments.

South East College is an approved Centre of the UK Ofqual awarding body ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management). It has strategic relationships in place with several relevant organisations including but not restricted to the Irish Pharmacy Union, The Hardware Association of Ireland and Skillnets.

In 2020 South East College’s short course was granted “Endorsed” status by a second UK Ofqual regulated awarding body ATHE (Awards for Training & Higher Education). Endorsed programmes meet ATHE standards in terms of design, content and relevance, and are delivered and assessed in line with approved standards. The feedback received stated;

Susan Madden

Susan Madden

College Principal

Susan Madden is an accomplished educator and facilitator, with over twenty-five years’ experience in the design, development and delivery of qualifications and short courses. Susan has developed multiple common and specialism Minor and Major Awards at levels 3 to 5 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications of Ireland (QQI). Susan holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Training and Performance Management from Leicester University, Centre for Labour Market Studies (CLMS).

She is a graduate of the Strategic Business Planning & Management Programme with the Irish Management Institute (IMI), Strategic Planning and Retail Management Programme with the Babson School of Executive Education, (USA) and an Advanced Diploma in Employment Law from the Honourable Society of Kings Inn, Dublin.

Tina Byrne

Tina provides administrative and course support to tutors and subject matter experts. Tina is the “face of the college” with awarding bodies, student employers and students. She coordinates and administers student assessment and results management. Her forte in the college is her ability to design innovative teaching tools, learner workbooks, training games and virtual classroom environments.

Tina holds a Diploma in Youth and Community Work from University College Cork and a Level 6 Information Providers Programme (IPP).
